When are the market dates?

The market dates for 2024 are: June 9, July 14, August 11th, September 8th, and October 13th. You can start setting up at 12pm the day of the market. The market is open to public from 1pm to 5pm. You must both be registered as a vendor using this LINK and also have RSVP’d for dates using this LINK.

What if the weather is really bad?

We will try to hold the market, rain or shine, but if there is severe weather, we may choose to cancel the market for that day and reschedule it to the following Sunday. Plan for any weather. Wear layers. Sunscreen is available for purchase at C&W Market. We will do our best to contact you the day prior to notify you of the cancellation and reschedule.

Is there a cost to be a vendor at the Church & Dodge Market?

For the June 9th Market, CDBA has decided to waive any vendor fees. For the following markets, it will be $35 per market. CDBA is also offering a pre-payment option of $100 to cover the remaining Church & Dodge markets, bringing the cost to $25 per market. This pre-payment offer expires July 14th, 2024. There are no refunds on this offer, even if you do not make all Market dates.

What size space do I have and will tables be available?

The market takes place in the Y.O.U. parking lot located at 1623 Dodge AvenueEvanston, IL, 60201. Each vendor will be assigned a parking stall space to setup in. CDBA has no tables for rental this year, please bring any tables or displays you want to use that can fit in your assigned parking stall.

Can I load and unload my goods/table from my car in the lot?

You can unload in the alley off of Church next to the parking lot from 12pm to 12:45pm the day of the market on a first-come-first-in basis. You cannot remain parked in the alley. Market staff will be on-hand to control entry to the alley as to not create a traffic jam. All cars must be out of the alley once you have unloaded your vehicle. Cars will not be allowed back into the alley until 5pm and all customers have exited the lot. Traffic will be controlled by Market staff. If you choose to leave before 5pm, all goods/tables must be removed on foot, carried by hand or in your own cart.

What kind of things am I not allowed to sell?

We try to maintain a family friendly atmosphere, any explicit or illegal items are not allowed for sale or advertised at the market. You must have the proper licenses required by any applicable government bodies for the type of products you are selling.

Can I bring my pet(s)?

We love pets, but please leave them at home. Service animals trained to perform a task directly related to a person’s disability are allowed. A service animal is not an emotional support or comfort animal, because providing emotional support or comfort is not a task related to a person’s disability.

What if I need to use the restroom?

Vendors can use the restrooms at Ebony Barbershop on Dodge St.

What if I need an electrical outlet? Can I bring a generator?

There will not be access to any electrical outlets. No generators are allowed. Please make other plans.

Where can I park?

Street parking is available on Church and Dodge.

Where can I get water?

Please bring water to the event. Bottled water will be available for purchase at C&W Market.
